5 Ways to be Happier

Happiness is one of those things that we all have our own idea about and a definition to math it. But no matter what you call happiness or how you define iwage have managed to pull together a couple sure fire was to boost your own, whatever that might be.

1. Create. Use your inner artist to bring something, anything to life. A painting, a poem, song or photograph. According to a July 1996 article in Psychology Today, the creative process has the ability to unlock joy and happiness for those who take part.Mainly because the creative process allows people to express themselves and their inner most feelings, desires, & fears in ways they might not otherwise be able.

2. Start & Finish a Project. Nothing will give you more satisfaction than seeing your hard work come to life. And if it happens to be a home improvement project you’ll have an added bonus.

3. Exercise. Adrenalin, endorphins, & stamina need we say more? Oh yeah, according to an article published by the Harvard Medical School exercise can in fact be more effective than drugs when curing depression.

4. Relax. All the work & headaches of life will still be there. Sometimes we just need to relax which isn’t always easy in the fast paced world of today. But enjoying our family, friends, and those guilty little pleasures is what life is all about

5. Find Your Passion. Find something that excites you, that awakens that go do it kind of dive. Volunteering for any number of worthy causes can do that, just as fighting for a just cause. It will give you a sense of meaning, purpose, & richiousness
